The news isn’t good – you can see that each day in the newspaper and on television. Foreclosures are at an almost all time high and the forecast states we are not close to the end. Fuel prices are n’t accelerating as fast as they were but you never know if or when that will change and job loss is climbing rapidly as jobs migrate overseas, companies merge and the economy stalls. What can you do in these times? Often people shrug their shoulders with a “Whattya gonna do” statement. The real answer is TAKE CONTROL. Now is the time to stop looking to your employer or the government for answers, they are not coming – really. You are going to need to start looking inward for answers.
For many people, times have always been tough because they struggled with debt and dislike for their job. They woke up in the morning in life mode, not living mode, because they lived outside of passion, They only woke in the morning to accomplish the tasks of getting a paycheck, often rarely finding anything that stimulated them to success.
Here is that opportunity you either prayed for, were lead to or found because it is time to make this important change. Why here, why now? The fact is, all indications suggest that times are going to be much worse. The government wants to maintain control of this speculation to avoid mass panic and lead to collapse of markets, and probably are just in doing so to allow for economic expansion opportunities. But insiders and people who care, will tell you now is the time to make in investment in change and exercise that option you have been waiting to do.
Why a home based business? Why a Personal Franchise?
A home based business allows you to build an opportunity for yourself without going cold-turkey on an income. It allows you to “ease in” to the opportunity, read the right materials, get well trained on the business opportunity and he products of the business. Sure you could start knitting sweaters and making candles as a home business, but those businesses are good as long as your fingers knit and the wax can be poured. You will do EVERYTHING related to that business. Sure your name is on the label but it is a good business decision.
Less that 10% of businesses started from scratch each year will become successful. Your odds increase when you build a business with a partner and increase substantially more when you build a business within an established framework and with support systems. The reality is, that your efforts are better invested in building the sales and scope of the business instead of building the infrastructure and systems of the business. Beside needing a good team of expensive people to do that, it is really not so fun and most people aren’t very good at it anyway.
If your passion is not in building infrastructure, than DON’T DO IT! Stop doing things you hate and take control of your passion in a business you love, Leave the heaving lifting to your personal franchisor. Yes – they will make more in the business than you do, but like ALL businesses, they carry the thrust of the risk, expense, negotiation duties, insurance costs, overhead costs carrying costs, etc. They should make more! If you take the Personal Franchise, however, and put it under a microscope, you will find that the complexity has been stripped out for you so that all you experience is the an opportunity to share great products with fun people. Are all people going to be interested in your business, NO – they will not. I assure you of that. Neither are healthy eaters fans of Burger King or hamburger lovers fans of vegetarian restaurants. People buy with their passion and from your passion.
If you don’t have passion for your business or your products – DON’T GET INTO A BUSINESS – YOU WILL FAIL! While you may have short term success, your are cannibalizing the passion of starting a business to feed the void of having no passion for what you are in business to sell. The upsides of home business are meeting new people, building lifelong relationships, generating on average of $500-1000 more per month and tax benefits that you don’t enjoy as a paycheck employee.
What we are trying to relay to you is bad times are good times. Some highly successful people saw opportunity in bad times to build huge empires. You don’t have to build a huge empire, maybe success for you is more time to go camping, spend with your family and friends, give to a homeless family or give them the gift of a business they can build to find the resources to take control. Give to your favorite charity – build an extra bedroom. Small successes offer many people large returns.
Live each day with passion, ask yourself if this is where you want to be in life, if you are living the life you have planned or one that will meet or exceed your needs. Take charge of this moment and find your passion, then find your business and a mentor to walk you through each step of the way.
